The MiG-21 ‘Fishbed’ is a Soviet supersonic jet fighter aircraft
designed by the Mikoyan-Gurevich Design Bureau.
More than fifty countries over four continents have flown the MiG-21, and was still serving many nations more than half-century after its maiden
flight.
In all its variants the MiG-21 made aviation history as the most produced supersonic jet aircraft, the most produced combat aircraft since the Korean War, and had the longest production run of any combat aircraft.
